Thank you for your support!

JOIN US AS WE BUILD A FOREST SCHOOL IN THE HEART OF Central and EASTERN KENTUCKY in THE FOOTHILLS OF THE APPALACHIANS!

Since the beginning, we have believed that nature is for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We have committed to reserving seats in every single class and program for financial aid and scholarship students, while still ensuring that our class prices are some of the most affordable in the country for nature programming. Additionally, we recognize that cost isn’t the only barrier to entry, often coming up with creative solutions to get those with the most need out into nature. This can include helping with transportation via carpooling and ridesharing, maintaining a lending library of outdoor weather gear, and other supports for our families—some of whom find Red Oaks as their first exposure to the great outdoors.  This is made possible through the support of generous donors like you, countless volunteer hours, and our never ending efforts at fundraising and grant development. Your donation allows us to maintain our commitments to our scholarship families, ensuring their continued participation in our programming as long as they are in need.

Red Oaks Center for Nature and the Arts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible for income, gift, and estate taxes. Our EIN is 82-2119872.

Become a member today!

By subscribing as a Red Oaks member, you help us provide access to programming for families that need it most. We currently support 1/3 of our students with financial aid and scholarships and our goal is to be able to provide access to our programming for anyone who needs it. This support also helps us address the many barriers to nature-based education, exploration, and play outside of financial barriers. By helping us grow in this way, you are advocating that all people need access to nature and the mental and physical healing benefits that come with it.

Volunteer

Donate with your time! Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the work Red Oaks is doing. We have many ways to volunteer to meet many scheduling needs. Your time is so valuable and we very much appreciate this gift. We especially need grant writers, wilderness first aid trainers, teachers, and teaching assistants.
